The House

This magnificent vacation rental home is located on 18 acres, overlooking the Fraser Valley in Mission City, British Columbia. It’s no surprise, then, that gorgeous, panoramic views abound near and around Above and Beyond.

When you first enter the home, you’ll pass through our beautiful grand hallway. The front room looks out on to the view and is the perfect setting for reflecting.. The other rooms that you’ll find within the home will astound and amaze you, as well, with their class and beauty. Upon further touring the house, you’ll come to see that this beautiful home is filled with an eclectic mix of antiques, and top of the line furnishings. The house is large enough for all to find their own nook or cranny for privacy.

We also have a hot tub for 8 to relax and enjoy a refreshing dip in. (Of course it has beautiful views as well)

The house has 6 bedrooms and four bathroom.. It can sleep 10 with each person having their own bed.. More for families that can snuggle. (two queens, 5 singles, 3 doubles.) Check with us on groups larger than 10...

The Kitchen

Whether you like to cook, or be cooked for, the Kitchen will be one of the most frequented rooms in the whole house. It’s well equipped with high-quality appliances, including a top of the line dishwasher. When the Cook wants to perform his or her skills outdoors, rather than indoors, they’ll be happy to find our BBQ next to the kitchen . There is also a large deck to entertain, with pub style tables to dine and enjoy.. Of course, the house also features a formal dining room, so it is well prepared for any level of dinner arrangements. We can recommend for our local chef 'to come and prepare any meals that you would like. Breakfast can also be arranged as well as picnic lunches with advance notice. The downstairs also has a commercial size double door fridge for extra food, or large trays and soda. There is also a freezer downstairs as well that may be used for ice. The kitchen has spices, basic ingredients and more.

The Main Floor

The living Room is the perfect place to sit and relax. Women tend to gather here have a glass of wine and catch up with old friends. the couches are deep and the perfect place to curl up and read a book or just watch nature at it's best. It is adjacent to the in Kitchen and dining nook.. It is the perfect area to have a wine bar set up and you can use the kitchen nook for appetizer set up.. The house is large enough to entertain and allow guests the opportunity to circulate, wander out to the deck which is on the same level, or easy access to the formal dining room. Next to the kitchen is an area great extra prep room.. with large double sinks as well.

The Games Room (aka the man cave)

When in the mood to spend some recreation time, you can visit the Games Room; complete with a deluxe pool table, Flat Screen TV and DVD Player, as well as assorted board games and pub style table and chairs which is great for playing a game of poker. The men will appreciate the overstuffed furniture. Our guests can also enjoy the use of a telescope, to view the evening stars. We also offer Satellite TV for you and your guests to enjoy. On sunny days you can play chess on the front lawn with our oversized chess set. There is also a bedroom downstairs with two double beds. As well a bathroom with a toilet, shower and vanity.

At the end of the evening you can pop outside, and take a dip in our 8 man Hot Tub. It’s the perfect way to relax and unwind.

Upstairs Bedrooms (3+1)

When you go upstairs, you’ll immediately see that this is the perfect place to finish off your evening. There are a total of 3 bedrooms plus ( daybed room) upstairs, two of which that share a Jack and Jill adjoining bathroom. Each room has its own vanity sink and walk-in closet, as well. There is a queen and single in one room and a double and single in the other. (The day bed room can be used for an infant as it is adjacent to the Master)

The Romantic Master Bedroom features an antique tester bed and chaise lounge, sumptuous duvets, your own Master bathroom with double sinks, separate shower and sunken jetted tub in the tower, all complete with a majestic view of the valley below. As with all of our bedrooms, all Linens are provided.

You will also find in the Master Bedroom a fireplace to warm your body and soul. Many of our previous visitors found themselves sitting by the fireplace and enjoying a good book until the warmth of the fireplace drew them in the direction of the bed, where they slept more soundly then they ever thought possible.

Main Floor Bedroom

You can find a bedroom on the main floor with two single beds, as well as a full bathroom, complete with a shower for those guests that do not like stairs.

Downstairs Bedroom

There is a large bedroom down that has two double beds with your own vanity and additional washroom with shower...This room had French doors to the outside... and is just off of the games room.. Perfect place to put the guest's who go to bed last.

Weddings

Although we get wedding requests Above and Beyond is not suited for weddings as the number's tend to exceed what the home and property can comfortably hold. Occasionally we do have a vow renewal or a small gathering of 20 or less.. Please check with us if you are interested and you group size is minimal.. We are happy to host your out of town guests..Please note the house is rented to mature groups only.

Men's and Ladies Getaway Weekend's

Above and Beyond is the perfect place for couples retreat's or ladies/Men weekend away form everything.. We can host 4 couples with out any one having to share a bedroom, or 10 guests with out having to share a bed.)

There are local tours, nearby Sandpiper golf, course jet boat tours, antiquing in quaint Mission. and of course the fishing.
